Twenty five years ago domestic abuse was brought to the public eye by the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Not only were their lives cut tragically short but their ENTIRE families were altered forever. IT DOES NOT JUST GO AWAY. In fact I read today that Tanya Brown, Nicole Brown – Simpson’s sister said this 25th Anniversary HIT HARD. It never goes AWAY. My heart breaks for their families as my family is forever altered due to domestic abuse. My life, has forever been altered due to domestic abuse. It’s true I didn’t fight back when my abuser Richard Zona Jr. went berserko….I played DEAD for thirteen years. And it’s true as pointed out in my threats, from his and John Paul DeJoria’s GANG, I have received “that I should be grateful that I wasn’t beaten to a pulp or murdered, as of yet.” I am grateful for my life, however permanently altered, however forever in pain, over my permanently altered family. Today on the 25th anniversary of a domestic abuse death, it makes me SICK the continued unawareness, unacceptable in the world of law, and the number of women MURDERED since then. The police, judges, and lawyers have been in on it from the get go with me and thousands upon thousands of women. Not much has changed about the perception and actions of domestic abuse in the eyes of the world. IT IS SICKENING. UNACCEPTABLE. IT NEVER ENDS. Another woman recently lost her life in Connecticut, a beautiful woman, Jennifer Dulos. It never ends….on the 25th Anniversary of the Brown-Simpson, and Goldman deaths due to FUCKING DOMESTIC ABUSE, now another family the Dulos family is tragically altered forever.
